Dave

In 2012, after a long nursing career in the National Health Service, I was fortunate to be able to retire early and become involved with the family business and I now manage the kennels and cattery along with my wife, Bev. I have always loved and owned dogs and cats throughout my life and worked with security dogs during my student training days many years ago!

I am thoroughly enjoying this new chapter in my life and am totally committed to continuing the long serving standards of the kennels and cattery to ensure your pets have a healthy, safe and enjoyable stay with us.

I look forward to meeting and welcoming your pets…

Following on from my career in the NHS as a medical secretary, I took early retirement and have more recently become actively involved in the running of the kennels and cattery. Although looking after cats and dogs is nothing new to me having lived with and owned both cats and dogs all my life, this is a great opportunity for me to work with our four legged friends.

I too, am committed to maintaining the long serving high standards to ensure your pet has a safe and happy stay here.

Katie

I undertook the City and Guilds Diploma in Animal Care at Oaklands College and successfully received certificates in July 2012. Since then I have been working at Verulam Farm Kennels and Cattery and have come to know our regular dogs and cats very well and enjoy welcoming them back time and time again. I am very thorough with my care of all the animals and it is such a pleasure to see our boarders enjoying themselves.

At home I have a dog and many other small pets. I really enjoy my job here looking after our resident dogs and cats and respect and treat them all as if they were my own. I look forward to welcoming your pet.

I have had a lot of experience working in boarding kennels on a part-time basis whilst undertaking three years at Oaklands College. I gained two City and Guilds - one in Animal Care and one in Animal Management. From an early age I knew I always wanted to work with animals.

I have three dogs and a cat myself and really enjoy my job here at Verulam Farm Kennels and Cattery. I respect and care for every animal that comes to stay with us and treat it as if it was my own. I look forward to welcoming your pet.
